Create More Allies

We need you help to continue on the fight by calling at least 3 family members or friends. And nominating others on insta or other social media platforms. We need you to have conversations about police brutality towards black people. We need you to talk about hard topics like white privilege and white supremacy. This is hard because it brings up centuries of hurt but we need to heal our wounds. We have created a structure you can follow to help navigate hard conversations.

Conversation Structure

Knowledge Is Power

Part of being an ally is realizing what is happening to the people around us. In the following we have movies, books, podcasts, songs and websites for you to check out. We encourage you to educate yourself by looking at these resources. We want you learn about how racism influences our everyday lives and how it has for centuries. Education gives us the power we need to disrupt racism, which is what we want you to do. The top two websites are resource guides for you to work through while the document is a few sources we have personally learned a lot from.

A few More suggestions

Make Some noise

Make some noise because silence is deadly. One way you can make yourself heard and stay safe at home is calling politicians. Calling elected officials, can be very powerful. If they get many calls on a specific issue, it can influence the way they vote or handle situations in their communities. This document has a few things you can ask of politicians

locally, and nationally.
